SJCC Adds Acting Classes to Events

Sponsored by the St. Johns Cultural Council, Anne Kraft will be conducting an Acting Workshop for adults. Two 4 week sessions are planned and will be held on Mondays at 7pm beginning March 5. Tuition is $80 for each 4 week session.

Workshop sessions will be held from 7-10pm at the SJCC Art Advocate Office at 76 B San Marco Ave. uptown St. Augustine. Participation in the workshop is limited to 10 students so that each person has the maximum opportunity to work each week.

The workshop, A Gym for Actors, is geared to actors with previous experience and is intended to further the actors' skills through working on scenes with a partner. Some of the skills to be addressed are: How to be specific in your choices, How to get real in your work, and How to learn your lines without memorization.
