June 25, 2008

Greetings,

Are the kids already bored, do you need a vacation but can't afford the gas? Follow the Yellowbrick Road to the Limelight Theatre, attend a performance  of "Oz" and get away for a few hours of high powered fun!  The talented cast is comprised of youth from all parts of  St. Johns County.

Michael Rothfeld is looking for Korean War Veterans to interview for a documentary, entitled, " America's Forgotten Heroes." The SJC Veterans Council and the Florida Veteran Programs & Projects Inc., in association with the Art Institute of Jacksonville, are joining forces to  produce the documentary. Dr. Nadia Ramatour and her team of students and professionals from the Art Institute are scheduled to begin filming this fall. Mr. Rothfeld may be reached at 829-0381.

Thanks to Gregory Van Hausch and Sara Geraci, our "Dinner and a Movie" night continues to provide audience pleasing movies. We also appreciate the support and delicious food offered each month by Pat Morrisey and Ned Pollack from the Gypsy Cab Company. Our next "Dinner and a Movie" will be on July 28.  Reservations can be made by calling 824-8244.

Enjoy...
